Brandon Pope lead a breakout session around “Strategies for obtaining short and long term employment in Nonprofit Job Market in the Age of COVID-19. The second session was an opportunity for community members to add their voice to the creation of the July 16th Un-Meetup Resource Fair.June 11th Virtual Check-in Deck
The Economic Awareness Council lead a breakout session on how they can provide support related to peer-facilitated online learning and discussion sessions. Topics include banking, saving, investing, budgeting, credit, resumes, and interviewing. EAC also reviewed independent learning opportunities that organizations can share online. The Summer Planning Session discussed local resources individuals can utilize as well as volunteer opportunities.June 4th Virtual Check-in Deck
La Toia Brown, Executive Director at Nerdy Media, led a breakout session on her AVibe program. It is a new approach to virtual programming designed for youth ages 14- 25. Additionally, Wade Berger continued the Summer Planning discussion focusing on virtual mentorship.May
